Accounting the cost

“I want to get into therapy but I have no idea where to start!”

“I know therapy would be so good for me but how could I ever afford it!”

“Insurance lingo is so confusing- I get overwhelmed before I even get started”

If you have ever had any of these questions or thoughts, you are not alone! And you are so right, insurance is confusing and therapy can be expensive. But, before you count therapy out, there might be a few things we can look at to see if insurance would cover you.

Many plans offer out-of-network (OON) benefits, which means you could get reimbursed for a portion of each session.

And you don’t have to figure this out on your own. We can work together to check your benefits and let you know exactly what you’d pay per session before we even get started. It is as simple as uploading your insurance card and letting a company I work with called Thrizer do the heavy lifting.

If you have OON benefits, you may only owe a copay at each session instead of the full fee. Want to see what that looks like for you? Contact me and let’s see.

I also offer a sliding scale because I never want therapy to be inaccessible! Email me or set up an appointment with me today and we can work together to make a plan for counseling- or I can refer you to a trusted community therapist.

Let's make it happen!
