My Specialties

  • A landscape with rolling green hills and a modern building in the foreground, and snow-capped mountains in the background under a cloudy sky.

    EMDR

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) is a powerful tool to help reprocess trauma. Trauma can have a lasting impact on our sense of self, connection with others, feelings of shame, etc. The deeply healing work of reclaiming our story and who we are is all part of what EMDR offers. Throughout the EMDR process, I work hard to gain your trust, listen, and then lead your brain towards regulation and compassion.

  • A modern wooden house with a large glass window set in a lush green landscape with mountains in the background.

    Nervous System Work

Our nervous system is the main way our body communicates with us. Sometimes it’s on high alert which make us feel anxious, performative, and hypervigillent. Other times it goes the opposite direction which leaves us feeling depressed, lethargic, and numb. And sometimes- our system is constantly going between these two states and we are left exhausted, full of self doubt, and constantly coping.

I teach you tools to regulate your nervous system. It looks different for everyone and that’s the best part- there no breath work or therapy activity that is a “cure all” (at least I haven’t found one yet!) But that leaves us space to explore the pivotal question “what do I need right now?” A question we forget to ask ourselves all the time!

  • Mountain lake scene with rolling hills in the foreground, a turquoise lake reflecting the overcast sky, and rugged mountains in the background.

    Body Image

Struggling with negative thoughts about your body that feel all consuming? You are not alone! I work with women of all ages that want to find freedom for exhausting messages from their brain saying “you are not good enough”. I use techniques rooted in grounding our nervous system, befriending and challenging the “not good enough” part, and the roller coaster ride that comes with accepting ourselves.
